The main mission of the ESMAT (ESTEC Materials) website is to deliver reliable test data for use on spacecraft for outgassing, stress corrosion, galvanic corrosion, flammability. It also contains the status of pcb manufacturing lines and smd verification.

The ESMAT website and its databases is controlled by the ESTEC M&P division. The Materials & Components Technology Division forms a part of the Product Assurance and Safety Department of the Directorate of Technical  Support at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.
