European Space Materials DataBase pilot.
The European Space Materials Database is an initiative from EADS, CNES and ESA.  The content and the structure is controlled by the members of the board which consists of EADS, CNES, DLR and ESA.

The database contains several sub databases:
ESMDB
This is the top level database. It gives some essential data for use in a space environment. For more details it links to the other databases
Materials Information
This database contains all the detailed information of the properties. It links to the outgassing database or the standards database if required.
Outgassing database
This database contains the outgassing values of more than 15000 tests on more than 5000 materials. For the test details it links to the test database.
Qualified parts
This database contains the qualification data of the parts such as printed circuit boards
ESSS-Q-ST-70 standards
This database contains all the European Space Standards ECSS-Q-ST-70-xx on materials and processes
